Squamish

Squamish is ideally situated in a spectacular setting on Howe Sound between Vancouver & Whistler and although it has experienced growth in the last few years, it is still an undiscovered gem of a community. With the upcoming Oceanfront development, the opening of Quest University in 2007, the expansion of Capilano College, the 2010 Olympics & the Sea to Sky Highway upgrades there are more and more reasons to consider creating a home in Squamish. It is just 40 minutes north to Whistler & 40 minutes south to Vancouver along one of the most beautiful stretches of highway I have ever seen.

Dubbed the Outdoor Recreation Capital of North America Squamish boasts world class windsurfing, kiteboarding, rock climbing, golfing, hiking, kayaking, mountain biking, scuba diving, eagle watching, fishing, river rafting & more all within minutes of each other.

With the population @ 17,000 there are numerous advantages to joining a community that is growing each year. Apart from the obvious incredible natural surroundings, there are business opportunities, rising real estate values & a new wave of young families choosing Squamish for the future making it an exciting place to be.
